AMRITSAR: An important meeting was held in Ludhiana by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee members, who are fighting for the restoration of the honor of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji. During the meeting, while discussing in detail the incidents that have taken place in the Panthic circles, the SGPC members jointly reiterated that the fight for the honor of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji and against the unfortunate resolutions passed in the internal committee meeting recently will continue.
The meeting, chaired by Bibi Jagir Kaur, jointly passed a resolution not to allow the Badal faction to hold a meeting of the Akali Dal in Teja Singh Samundri Hall. A letter was written to SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami in this regard and information was also sent
In the resolution passed, the SGPC members said that the Shiromani Akali Dal was established from Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The leadership of the Akali Dal has always been dedicated to Sri Akal Takht Sahib, but at present, the Badal faction of the Shiromani Akali Dal is challenging the Hukamnama Sahib issued from Akal Takht Sahib. The leadership of the Badal faction of the Akali Dal has openly come to the media and refused to accept the Hukamnama Sahib, citing the cancellation of the party's recognition from the Indian government system and even claimed that our recognition can be saved on one condition if we do not allow the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib to be implemented on the party. After this, the Badal faction of the Akali Dal has become a fugitive and rebel from Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
The SGPC members collectively passed the resolution and said that the Akali Dal which refuses to obey the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, is a fugitive and a rebel, cannot be allowed to carry out any of its activities in Teja Singh Samundri Hall.
Surely, only the Akali Dal, which is fully dedicated to Sri Akal Takht Sahib, has the right to use Panthic institutions, national platforms and heritage buildings.
Along with this, the SGPC members sternly reprimanded President Harjinder Singh Dhami and said that if the Badal faction, which has completely stood firm against the orders issued by Akal Takht Sahib, gets the right to use Sikh institutions and national buildings, then it will be a historical stain.
The SGPC members strongly demanded from the SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami that, representing all Panthic sentiments, a complete ban should be imposed on the use of Teja Singh Samundri Hall by the Badal faction of the Akali Dal with immediate effect.
In today's meeting, SGPC members Dr. Kiranjot Kaur, Bibi Paramjit Kaur Landran, Bibi Kuldeep Kaur, Surinder Singh Bhulewal Rathan, Jaswant Singh Pudain, Karnail Singh Panjoli, Amrik Singh Shahpur, Satwinder Singh Tohra, Harjap Singh Ji, Bikramjit Singh, Mahinder Singh Hussainpur, Bibi Malkit Kaur, Malkit Singh Changal, Nirmail Singh Joula were specially present.
