AMRITSAR: Retaliating against the press statement issued by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Harjinder Singh Dhami, SGPC Interim Committee member Jathedar Jaswant Singh Pudain, SGPC member Surinder Singh Bhulewal Rathan, Master Mithu Singh Kahneke said that today, every SGPC member as well as the entire Sikh Sangat has doubts about the sincerity of President Advocate Dhami.
The main reason for this is that when the report containing the recommendations of the two sub-committees formed to formulate the rules and regulations is available in the SGPC office, the statement by President Dhami seems to have been given only to divert attention from the issue of reinstatement of Singh Sahib.
Along with this, in the statement issued, the members demanded that Dhami show seriousness, no committee will be accepted to implement the report containing the recommendations of the sub-committees.
In the statement issued, the members told President Dhami that we will strongly welcome your initiative when you restore the Singh Sahibs who were removed , for which the entire Khalsa Panth is demanding.
In the statement issued, the members said that when the nation was going through a Panthic crisis, Dhami ran away from his moral and responsibility towards the Panth, due to which the anti-national and anti-Panthic forces wrote such a disclaimer in the form of resolutions due to which Sikhs all over the world had to face humiliation.
Jathedar Pudain said that when a historic resolution dedicated to the principles of Miri Piri was brought by him, then at that time President Dhami himself opposed the presentation of the resolution and prevented it from being presented, although Nahumat was in favor of the resolution.
Jathedar Pudain said that Dhami should tell the Sangat whose hands he kept preventing the resolutions from being presented.
Jathedar Pudain demanded that the services of the Singh Sahibs who were removed earlier be restored, because a large gathering of the Sikh community on the historical land of Sri Anandpur Sahib has demanded this.
