AMRITSAR: The Inner Committee of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has strongly condemned the recent killing of three youths from Punjab in UP and has demanded a judicial inquiry into the matter.
The executive committee of Shiromni Gurdwara Parbandhak committee which was held under the presidentship of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami here today.
Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, while passing a resolution regarding police competition in UP, they raised serious questions about it. It was said in the resolution that this is a very serious matter and it seems like an act of deliberately targeting the youth of Punjab at a very young age.
Apart from this, the internal committee has also rejected the resolution of the meeting of the internal committee on December 9, in which Narayan Singh Chaudhara was demanded to be expelled from the panth. Along with this, by passing a resolution, the period of the investigation committee formed regarding Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh has been extended by one month in view of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee elections on December 19. Through this resolution, the commitment has also been expressed that the investigation of this matter will be absolutely fair.
A condolence resolution was also passed on Manmohan Singh's challan and tributes were paid to him by chanting Mulmantar and Gurmantar.
