Punjabi artists tied the colors with the songs of the commonality of both the Punjabs during 34th World Punjabi Conference

LAHORE: In the ongoing 34th World Punjabi Conference in Lahore, where papers were read and discussions were held about Sufis, Punjabi artists displayed their art during the event organized by Bhullekha newspaper to welcome the delegation from India.

During the event held at the Punjab Language and Arts Center (Palak) in Lahore, the rising Punjabi folk singers Pammi Bai, Sukhi Brar and Satnam Punjabi and Arif Lohar and Imran Shaukat Ali from Lahinde Punjab sang songs in their powerful voice. Pammi Bai and Arif Lohar's juggling act was remarkable. All the entertainers sang the songs of Punjab's commonality. Baba Najmi sang "Iqbal Punjabi Da" and Ilhas Ghuman shouted Punjabiat with his passionate speech. Trailochan Lochi made the atmosphere emotional with 'Zalam Kain Balawan Hota, Kafis Ta Kavitawan Hota'. The brave soldier from Lahinde Punjab amused the atmosphere by telling humorous jokes in his unique style. Kasoor's Khatija recited popular folk songs.

On this occasion, poet Harvinder's song 'Bina Ve Lahore De Punjab Ki Punjab A' was released by Baba Najmi, Deepak Manmohan Singh, Gurbhajan Gill, Sahajpreet Singh Mangat. This song is sung by Aslam Bahu, a famous Sufi singer from Lahinde Punjab.

During the conference, the Shahmukhi edition of the book 'Baatan Wahyo Par Di' by senior journalist Satnam Manak was released. Books of Abdul Kadeem, Dr Qudsi, Bushra Ejaj, Baba Najmi, Baba Ghulam Hussain Haider were also released on this occasion.

Mudassar Iqbal Butt, editor-in-chief of Bhulekha newspaper thanked the entire Indian delegation.
