-PYC president appeals to vote for Congress candidates, those are in contest
CHANDIGARH: punjab Youth Congress (PYC) president Mohit Mohindra today appealed to residents of Patiala to vote for Congress candidates to teach a lesson to AAP for high level rigging in filing nomination papers for Municipal Corporation elections in December 21.
In a video message, PYC president said all people had witnessed the rigging by AAP leaders who torn the nomination papers of Congress candidates. He added that false cases were registered to browbeat the opposition nominees and police openly helped the goons to stop candidates from reaching RO office.
He said that AAP had in a way snatched the right of vote for candidates of their choice. Never in the past such goondagardi was seen by Patialvis.
Mohit Mohindra said they have collected data of police officers involved in threatening candidates and working as agents of AAP. He said they knew how to deal with them. Only two years are left for change in the present government. “We will ensure guilty policemen are punished”, he added.
