PHAGWARA: The Lohian Khas police have arrested a resident on the charge of raping a minor girl. The investigating officer (IO), Balkar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sagar Singh, a resident of Chacha colony, Lohian Khas.
IO said a case under section 65(1) (rape on a woman under sixteen years) of the BNS and 6 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act was registered against the accused.
