SAD to issue show cause notice to all leaders opposing expulsion of Jathedars
CHANDIGARH: The SAD Working President Balwinder Singh Bhundar today took a strong notice of statements/ videos of some party leaders criticising the decisions of SGPC & SAD. He warned the party leaders and said that indecipline will not be tolerated.
The warning by party president came in view of wide criticism of SGPC for expelling Akal Takhat Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh and Takht Kesgarh Sahib Jathedar Sultan Singh. Large number of senior party leaders have revolted against the party leadership for insulting the Jathedars.
Bikram Singh Majithia senior leader and brother-in-law of Sukhbir Badal had also revolted against the SGPC decision. He deanded to withdraw the decision. The others who opposed SGPC decision are Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Karnail Singh Peer mohammed, Ranjit Singh Gill and many more.
This issue was discussed today in the meeting of parliamentary board held at Chandigarh today. The meeting was attended by Gulzar Singh Ranike, Janmeja Sekhon, Mahesh Inder Grewal, Heera Gabhria & Dr Daljit Cheema.
After the meeting Bhundar said that indiscipline will not be tolerated at any cost. Everyone is free to express his views at the party forum but nobody could be allowed to violate the party discipline as nobody is above the party.
He said that all such anti party statements and videos are being referred to party disciplinary committee & show cause notices will be issued to all. Action will be taken on merit after consideration of their replies.
