High Court Judges Address International Law Conference at Khalsa College

AMRITSAR: The day-long deliberations were held at the International Law Conference-2024 today at historic Khalsa College where the judges of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Justice Lisa Gill, Justice Harsimran Singh Sethi and Justice Jasgurpreet Singh Puri addressed the audience. They all stressed on high moral practices in the deliverance of the justice system for the public.

The three judges who were earlier welcomed by Khalsa University Pro Chancellor and Khalsa College Governing Council honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina and Khalsa College of Law Director Dr.Jaspal Singh gave various mantras of success to students as they said that we need committed and dedicated law professionals in the country.

The Conference organized by Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh in collaboration with Amritsar District Bar, was dedicated to the 555th birth anniversary and teaching of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. They said in their addresses that high moral character and truthful living as envisaged by Guru Nanak must be imbibed by all legal practitioners to provide justice to one and all.

Justice Gill, Puri and Sethi in their unison voice called for a high degree of dedicated service with impeccable work ethics to give justice to the neediest person in the society. They said as the litigation was growing in society, the legal professionals have a larger responsibility to ensure timely and speedy justice. They asked the law e students to dream big, learn from failures and believe in their capabilities to shine in their chosen challenging career.
