AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has congratulated Sukhbir Singh Badal on being elected as the President of Shiromani Akali Dal.
He said that the political party representing Punjab and the Panth, Shiromani Akali Dal, has always represented the issues of the Sikh community and the people of Punjab and it is hoped that Sukhbir Singh Badal will become the voice of the people by setting future priorities in this direction.
Meanwhile On being re-elected as the President of Shiromani Akali Dal, Sukhbir Singh Badal has been congratulated by Shiromani Committee members Bhai Rajinder Singh Mehta, Bhai Amarjit Singh Chawla, Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka and S. Surjit Singh Bhittewade.
The Shiromani Committee members said that the Shiromani Akali Dal is the only representative political organization of the Sikh Panth, which has always raised its voice for the Panth, Punjab as well as the Sikh community living all over the world.
They said that the Shiromani Akali Dal stood firmly with its people in every time of joy and sorrow. Whatever development took place in Punjab happened only during the government of the Shiromani Akali Dal.
Shiromani Committee members said that it is a matter of happiness that in the election of the President of the Shiromani Akali Dal, the representative organization of the Sikh community, Sukhbir Singh Badal has been unanimously entrusted with the responsibility of the President of the Shiromani Akali Dal in the election held today.
The leaders expressed hope that under the leadership of Sukhbir Singh Badal, the Shiromani Akali Dal will, as before, raise people's issues at every level and fight the fight at the forefront of the people of Punjab
