Indictment of Naresh Yadav AAP MLA in desecration of Quran Sharif in Malerkotla
CHANDIGARH: Senior SAD leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia has stirred a new debate over hundreds of incidents of sacrilege of holy Guru Granth Sahib during the rule of SAD-BJP government when Parkash Singh Badal was the Chief Minister. Badal family faced wrath of the Sikh community for failing to control the sacrilege cases and punish the culprits.

Bikram Majithia while addressing a press conferencer here yesterday has pointed an accusing finger on AAP and named them as conspirator behind the desecration of the holy Guru Granth Sahib. He has cited the example of conviction of AAP MLA Naresh Yadav by Malerkotla court holding hm the main conspirator for sacrilege of Quran Sharif. The action of Yadav, according to Majithia was aimed to create differences between Sikh and Muslim communities. He said that AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal is the main conspirator of sacrilege of religions scriptures and it is now clear that AAP conspired sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib to defame the SAD.

The accusations made by Biram Singh Majithia can't be dismissed in view of conviction of Naresh Yadav who is sentenced for two years. Majithia also questioned AAP government of Bhagwant Mann for filing an application in the court to withdraw appeal against acquittal of Naresh Yadav by the trail court. Yadav was convicted by District session judge on an appeal against the order of trial court. It raises eye brows why the AAP government filed application in the sessions court to withdraw the appeal filed by state. It shows malafide intentions of Bhagwant Mann government.

Naresh Yadav was booked during the regime of Parkash Singh Badal government and he was arrested from Delhi. He is MLA from Mahroli in Delhi and right-hand man of Arvind Kejriwal. AAP had accused the SAD for falsely implicating Naresh Yadav. At that time the people of Punjab believed Kejriwal and didn't agree with the SAD claims of involvement of AAP MLA in the sacrilege case. The verdict of Malerkotla session court has given an opportunity to SAD to hit back on AAP and accuse them of series of sacrilege cases in Punjab. It si for the people of Punjab to judge who is right and who is wrong.
