AMRITSAR: Senior Bhartiya Janta Party leader Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina today hailed the party’s landslide victory in Delhi, terming it as a vote for Prime Minister Narendera Modi’s vision of ‘Maha-Vikas’ (mega-development) to make India a developed nation. He said the people of the national capital imposed faith in Modi’s leadership and his agenda of `development’ and progress of the nation.
Chhina also praised the efforts made by Home Minister Amit Shah and national BJP chief JP Nadda for steering the party to the historic win that routed the ‘corrupt and directionless’ Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s regime, led by Arvind Kejriwal. “The people realized the real face of Kejriwal and his coterie. The AAP promised something but delivered nothing at the ground and people have shown them doors”, said Chhina adding that Modi’s victory wagon will further continue in the coming times.
He said the BJP contested the elections on the issue of development and general welfare schemes for the public. The people gave the verdict in favour of the party's agenda to chalk out the plan to make the national capital a city of international standards. He congratulated all the senior leaders at national level and in Delhi who campaigned meticulously to ensure the victory of the party.
