CHANDIGARH: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will attemd the oath taking ceremony of new Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, this is informed by office of Channi.
Channi will take oath at 11 AM today at Punjab Raj Bhawan in the presence of AICC general secretary Harish Rawat, PPCC president Navjot Singh Sidhu, family members and other dignatories. Governor Banwarilal Lurohit will administer the oath.
AICC president Sonia Gandhi was also in Chandigarh this monrning on her way to Shimla. But she will not attend the ceremony. She arrived at Delhi airport through a special plane at 7.33 AM. She stayed there for 12 minutes before proceeding to hill state by road.
