NEW DELHI: Following the conclusion of the Lok Sabha Session today at the Parliament Complex in New Delhi, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Member of Parliament from Ludhiana and President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC), addressed the media on several crucial issues concerning Punjab and the nation at large.

MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring emphasized – “I am committed to not only addressing the issues of Ludhiana but also advocating for the concerns of Punjab and the entire nation within the Indian National Congress. Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, who has been appointed Leader of the Opposition, the entire Indian National Congress will staunchly defend the rights of the people and ensure that the voice of the nation is heard loud and clear in the Parliament.”

Regarding recent political developments, MP Warring criticized BJP's approach, he said – “The President's recent address and comments on the emergency are a mere repetition of the Prime Minister's directives. All such statements have been meticulously planned by the BJP as well PM Modi’s team in order to hide their own failures. This is all an attempt to hide their incompetency following an election campaign where they froze the accounts of the main opposition party and also arrested opposition leaders.”

Commenting on internal political dynamics with the Shiromani Akali Dal, MP Warring remarked on the disarray within the party, suggesting that the party has essentially disintegrated. He declined further comment on their situation.

Commenting on the protest organized by the Indian Youth Congress, Raja Warring highlighted – “Examination leaks is a major issue which the youth of our nation currently faces. During the past five years due to the continuous examination leaks and scams, almost an entire generation has been harmed. With leaks of such major examinations like the NEET, what kind of future doctors do we expect in our nation? This is why we specifically mentioned examination leaks and ways to fight them in our manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections. We will ensure that justice is served and continue to fight against the incompetency of the BJP.”

Prior to addressing the media, PPCC Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring participated in the 'Sansad Gherao' protest organized by the Indian Youth Congress, highlighting issues of governmental inefficacy, particularly in light of recent examination leaks such as the NEET-scam affecting lakhs of youth within the nation. Post-protest, he visited a local food market near the Indian Youth Congress office, where he shared a meal and reminisced about his tenure as President of the Indian Youth Congress.
