AMRITSAR: The head of the Nihang Singhs' apex organization Shiromani Panth Akali Buddha Fifth Takht Chalda Waheer, Jathedar Baba Balbir Singh Akali 96 Crori, took strict note of the unfortunate comment made by comedian Kapil Sharma about Baba Diwan Todar Mal's name.
TV comedian Kapil Sharma has used the name of Diwan Baba Todar Mal, a respected servant of Sikh history and Guru Ghar, in a very insulting manner during a show. With which an attempt was made to erase his great sacrifice. This has deeply hurt the hearts of the entire Sikh world.
He said that despite Kapil Sharma being born in Punjab and being very well aware of Sikh history, he has dared to use the name of respected Diwan Baba Todar Mall Ji in a derogatory manner.
He said that Sharma should immediately apologize publicly for this, otherwise he should be ready for strict action against him.
