CHANDIGARH: Punjabi film actor Deep Sidhu has emerged villain of farmers protest in Delhi as he allegedly instigated the mob and led them to Red Fort where miscreants hoisted flag and clashed with police.
Deep Sidhu is considered close to BJP and he was banned by Kisan Sanjha Morcha from the farmers protest after seeing his conduct during protest at Shambhu border in Punjab. He had aligned with Khalistani elements and tried to instigate farmers. The farmers have also banned a former gangster Lakhs Sidhana from its stage at Singhu border.
Deep Sidhu was seen leading the violent mob at Red Fort and his presence raises questions as how he reached there when he was not part of the farmer protests. He was blamed by farmer organisations a suspect who was working to help anti-farmer forces. He was close to Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol and was election incharge of Deol, a BJP candidate.
Deep Sidhu caused damage to Protest
We feel the action of Deep Sidhu to lead the violent mob is anti-farmer and agaisnt the spirit of Punjab farmers. His action to hoist Nishan Sab at red fort has served the purpsoe of center government and weakened the farmers protest. -Editor
The way Delhi police allowed the crowd to enter Delhi and stay at Red Fort for long time makes role of police and intelligence agencies suspicious. The question is who planted Deep Sidhu in the protest on the day of tractor parade.
The leaders of Kisan Sanjha Morcha has blamed intelligence agencies for Delhi violence and an attempt to sabotage peaceful agitation by farmers of India against three farm laws.
Deep Sidhu who has’posted a video on his Facebook said, “We have only hoisted the Nishan Sahib flag on the Red Fort while exercising our democratic right to protest.”
He said in such a protest, people’s anger flares up and you cannot blame one person for inciting the protesters.
