CHANDIGARH: AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal after resounding defeat in Delhi elections has called all the AAP MLAs to Delhi for an urgent meeting today. It is learnt that Kejriwal feared poaching of his party's MLAs by BJP.
After losing Delhi, Punjab is the only state where AAP is in power. The party is worried over poor performance by AAP in the recently held Municipal Corporation elections. The party couldn't achieve majority in any of the MC except in Patiala where large scale rigging was reported. Earlier, party could only won three Lok Sabha seats out of 13.
Congress party leader Partap Singh Bajwa had claimed that 30 AAP MLAs are in contact with Congress to join them. Congress is hoping to make a come back in Punjab with weakening of AAP. It is belived that after defeat in Delhi, it would be difficult for AAP to keep its clock together.
