AMRITSAR: Congress Party candidate from Amritsar Lok Sabha constituency Gurjit Singh Aujla today addressed an election rally in village Sohian Khurd of Attari assembly constituency. Sarpanch Jagir Singh presided over the rally organized at the residence of Sarpanch Nishan Singh.

Speaking during the rally, Mr. Aujla said that BJP has been doing divisive and religion-based politics since the beginning. He said that BJP is a threat to the minorities and it is behaving despicably with the minorities, especially the Muslim community of the country is feeling unsafe. The people of India have well understood the cunning tactics of the BJP and have now decided to teach a lesson to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Lok Sabha elections. He said that of course the country's Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is claiming 400 seats, but I promise that this time he cannot take more than 200 seats. Sukhraj Randhawa praised Aujla at this time and said that he is a very friendly person and helps everyone when needed, so we should make him win by voting in large numbers.
