CHANDIGARH: The former minister and SAD president Bikram Singh Majithia has been summoned by Punjab Police SIT to appear before it for investigation into a drug case registered against him on 30.12.2021 at Mohali.
ADGP Patiala who heads the SIT has written to SHO civil lines Amritsar to serve the summons to Bikram Singh Majithia son of Satyajit Singh Majithia resident of 43, Green Avenue Amritsar to appear before SIT in Patiala on December 18. The SIT was formed to probe the case registered against Bikram Majithia under sections 25, 27A and 29 of NDPC Act in state crime police station Phase 4 Mohali.
Majithia who is on bail in this case has been asked to present himself in the office of ADGP/Chairman of SIT at 11 AM on December 18, 2023.
