PHAGWARA: The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a mother-son duo on the charges of murdering a woman.
Station House Officer (SHO) Jai Pal said that the accused had been identified as Balwinder Kaur alias Binder wife of Paramjit Singh a resident of Talwandi Salen village and her son Jaskaran Singh alias Jassa.
SHO said that the accused had murdered Rajwinder Kaur (35) wife of Amrik Singh a resident of the same village. SHO said that the husband of the deceased is also accused in this case and is absconding.
Raj Kumar a resident of Udho Wal village under Mehat Pur police station had complained to the police that his sister-in-law Rajwinder Kaur’s marriage was solemnized with Amrik Singh nine years ago and three accused murdered his relative on June 22.
SHO said a case under sections 302(murder) and 34 (committing the crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused and Amrik Singh.
