PHAGWARA: The Mehat Pur police have arrested a miscreant on the charge of snatching cash, a mobile, and a motorcycle.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jaswinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Amardeep alias Huma a resident of Mohalla Shah Salem Purr, Mehat Pur,
Kamaljit Singh, a resident of Muhem village had complained to the police that the accused waylaid him on July 24 and snatched Rs 500, a mobile, and a motorcycle (PB-08-8102) at a point of sharp-edged weapon.
IO said a case under section 304(snatching) of the B.N.S was registered against the accused and his one accomplice was arrested earlier.
