PHAGWARA: Some unidentified miscreants reportedly burgled the house and took away gold and silver ornaments worth lakhs of rupees in friends colony in Phagwara city last night.
House owner Parvesh Sahni told the police that he was residing alone in his rented house and doing a private job in a company at Kherra Road Phagwara.He explained when he returned back from the job he found his house badly ransacked and the lockers of his room broken.He told the police that the miscreants took away gold and silver ornaments of his late mother .
The Victim told that the stolen ornaments include two gold chains, four ear rings, two rings, , two bangles, four silver bangles, one silver chain, and a pair of silver ear rings.The Police have registered a case under section 380, 454 IPC and investigating the matter.
