CHANDIGARH: Canada based gangster Goldy Brar who is close associate of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has taken the responsibility of murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Mussewala.
Sidhu Mussewal was today shot dead by group of gangsters near village Jawaharke wala in Mansa district. Mussewala was gtravelling in Mahindra Thar when he was targeted. The miscreants fired volley of bullets on Sidhu Mussewala and two of his friends in the same vehicle were also injured seriously.
Goldy Brar has posted on his facebook account that his module in Punjab has killed Sidhu Mussewala. The murder of Sidhu Mussewala is linked to murder of an Akali Dal leader Vicky Middukhera in sector 70 Mohali on August 8 last year. Vicky was allegedly an informer of Bishnoi gang and he was on target of gangsters. The Shaganpreet Singh manager of Sidhu Mussewala was named as an accused in the murder of Middukhera and he is absconding. Police has issued lookout notice for him.
It is understood Punjabi singers are having links with gangsters and also financing their activities. Mankirat Aulakh another Punjabi singer is also getting threats from gangsters due to his links with Bishnoi group. SSP Mansa said that this murder was outcome of gang rivalry.
SSP said that Shaganpreet had absconded to Australia. He is also wanted by Delhi police.
Lawrence Bishnoi;s group has posted a statement claiming responsibility of murder, Bishnoi said that he had called Sidhu Mussewala and told him he had done wrong by killing Middukhera. Sidhu had then replied I dont bother anybody and I keep my guns loaded.
