PHAGWARA: Jalandhar resident Sewa Ram(59) working as Assistant Commissioner in Customs Department was reportedly run over by a running train on Phagwara—Jalandhar rail section on Sunday.
He was on his job and was measuring land around railway lines. As he was on his Mobile via Airpod, he could not notice a coming train and dashed against a running train while crossing the railway lines. Government Railway Police have registered a case and handed over the body to family members after post-mortem examination conducted in local civil hospital.
