KAITHAL: Four accused have been arrested by a special detective unit in the case of murderous assault on a person in village Magho Majri. DSP Sushil Prakash said that according to the complaint of Naresh, a resident of Magho Majri, his father Randhir was coming home with fodder from the farm when he reached near school.
On February 6 Pradeep and 3 other persons from the village attacked his father with Gandasi and other weapons, hurt him badly and escaped from the spot. A case was registered in the police station Sadar. Prince and Ritesh, resident of village Magho Majri, Abhishek, resident of village Paiga of district Jind and Prince and Ritesh, resident of village Parnala of district Jhajjar, were taken in police custody by Special Detective Unit in -charge SI Ramesh Kumar.
The DSP said that Pradeep's aunt had a piece of land in the village. The said land was purchased by Randhir even after Pradeep's family objected . Due to this enmity, Pradeep along with the said friends carried out the above attack . From the possession of the accused, police recovered 2 Gandasi, 2 sticks used in the incident. Accused Pradeep's police remand was obtained for 1 day from the court and the remaining three were sent to judicial custody as per the order of the court.
