HPCL and RCED Collaborate for Successful Tree Plantation Drive in Sector 53

CHANDIGARH: In celebration of Swachhata Pakhwada, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and the Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED) organized a tree plantation drive in Sector 53, Chandigarh. This initiative underscored the dedication of both organizations to environmental sustainability and community welfare.

The event witnessed active participation from key representatives of HPCL and RCED. Mrs. Afsana Kumari, Senior Marketing Officer, and Mr. Prem Singh, Deputy Regional Manager of the Chandigarh LPG Regional Office, led the plantation activities from HPCL with great enthusiasm. Representing RCED were Mr. Paramjit Singh, Director, Mr. Satvinder Singh, Senior Consultant, Ms. Pragati Katoch and Ms. Simranjot Kaur, Faculty. Their presence, along with the participation of eager students, highlighted the collective effort towards a greener and cleaner environment.

The event emphasized the significance of Swachhata Pakhwada and the vital role of tree plantation in combating climate change and promoting a healthy ecosystem. Dignitaries from both organizations shared insights on sustainable practices and encouraged everyone to take responsibility for protecting and nurturing the environment.

The event concluded with the planting of numerous saplings, symbolizing growth and renewal.
