CHANDIGARH: The Bhakra Beas Management Board, (BBMB) organized a vibrant Hasya Kavi Sammelan at Tagore Theatre, Sector 18, Chandigarh, filled up the evening with joy and laughter. The event brought together esteemed Hasya Kavis (humour poets) and drew a warm response from BBMB employees, their families, and the public, aiming to foster a relaxed, stress-free environment through power of humour.
The program began with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp, setting the stage for an evening of light-hearted poetry. Eminent humourist Mr. Sudhip Bhola, along with other distinguished poets, captivated the audience, delivering humour-filled insights on various facets of life with their unique styles and perspectives.
During the event, BBMB recognized the winners of various Hindi language competitions an initiative to promote Hindi in official work. Mr Manoj Tripathi, Chairman of BBMB, presented awards and mementos to the winners, commended their contributions to the growth of the Hindi language within the organization. In his address, he emphasized BBMB’s commitment to Hindi promotion, stating, “Events like these not only entertain but also reinforce our respect and love for our culture
and language. The talent showcased by our winners highlights the vibrancy of Hindi, inspiring the younger generation to cherish and uphold our linguistic heritage.”
