AMRITSAR:To mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Teachers Day was celebrated at Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology, Amritsar with full zeal and fervor. Celebrations started off with the lecture on “Stress Management” by Brahama Kumaris. Dr. Manju Bala (Director) said that motive of this lecture on teachers day is to release the stress that teachers face now a days. She said that purpose of this lecture is to introduce strategies for better dealing with stress and difficulty so that one can lead more balanced, happier and healthier life.
Resource person Sh. Bharat Bhushan who was accompanied by Dr. Popli and Dr. Sahil Bhai from Amritsar. Dr. Mohinder Sangita and Dr. Jugraj Singh extended a warm welcome to the guests. Sh. Bharat Bhushan said that for stress free life one must work in harmony with four dimensions of life: Mental, Physical, Social and Spiritual. Also he said that for healthier and happier life one must follow the rule of 7Cs: Calmness, Courage, Control, Contentment, Cheerful, Confidence and Concentration. He said that it is very important that to release stress one must develop the habit of smiling. Also he guided the faculty and students to have optimistic outlook for a healthier and stress free life.
Later on vote of thanks was extended by Dr. Mohinder Sangita and she also presented a token of gratitude to the guest speaker. Others present on the occasion were Dr. Ripin Kohli (Dean R&C), Dr. Mohit Angurala (HOD CSE), Dr. Jugraj Singh (Dean Academics), Dr. Sandeep Devgan (HOD, Agri.), Er. Iqroop Kaur, Mr. Binny abrol, Er.
