Friend of the National Parks Award for Andre Carson

INDIANAPOLIS : Congressman Andre Carson received the Friend of the National Parks Award from the nonpartisan National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) last week. The award is given to Members of Congress who have contributed significantly to the protection and enhancement of America's national parks.

Mr Carson said "Our national parks, namely Indiana Dunes, are a source of beauty and civic pride. I look forward to continuing my support for them in Congress."

"One of the greatest gifts we have in this country and in our state is the National Park system. Indiana is home to three national park sites and 34 state parks which house thousands of campsites, hundreds of cabins, and miles of trails," informed Mr Carson.

JOB FAIR ON AUGUST 5: The Central Indiana Job Fair will be held at the Ivy Tech Corporate College and Culinary Center on August 5. A wide array of companies from across the city will be there and they are looking to hire Hoosiers. Mr Carson has extended invitiation to attend the fair.The job fair is free and open to everyone.
