CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Finance Minister, Captain Abhimanyu, has said that the state government is actively working to find a solution to the issue of contractual employees and guest teachers to protect their interests. Though their case is pending in the court and the government is bound by the orders of the court, still we are finding a legal way out, he added.

Addressing a press conference after a felicitation ceremony at Dada Devraj Dharamshala at Narnaund, today, he said guest teacher’s is a well-educated class which is serving the Education Department for the last 13 years.

“Not a single teacher has been thrown out during the tenure of our government. We are considering legal aspects of adjusting them and will not allow injustice to be done to any guest teacher”, Capt Abhimanyu said.

In reply to a question on the statement of Mr Yashpal Malik, he said he did not want to comment on people who misguided the public, collected money on the carcasses of youth, and fled away. So many organizations are already asking about their money. Such leaders have come from outside and spoiled the brotherhood in Haryana just to serve their own interests,he added.

In reply to another question, Capt Abhimnanyu said perhaps these people did not know that my mother is Kandela Khap's lioness who sent three of her sons to the Army to serve the country.

Answering another question, he said if a political person held a public meeting in Narnaund area, he would not oppose it.  In a democracy everyone has the right to say his piece before public and he respects this right. People who resorted to hooting at any public meeting betrayed their poor mentality, the Finance Minister added.
