SGPC gave 30 lakh 33 thousand rupees for the fees of Sikhligar and Vanjara Sikh children

AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has released an amount of 30 lakh 33 thousand rupees for the school/call fees of the Sikh children of Sikligar and Vanjare.

Under the instructions of Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, this aid amount was handed over to the schools in the form of fees for Sikligar and Vanjara children studying in different places of Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh by the member of Dharm Prachar Committee, Bhai Ajaim Singh.

It may be mentioned that the Shiromani Committee has decided to pay the school fees of the children every year to make the Sikh children of Sikligar self-reliant. Accordingly, the fees for the academic year 2023-24 have been sent by the Shiromani Committee.

Giving information in this regard, the member of Dharm Prachar Committee, Bhai Ajaj Singh Praksha, said that the Shiromani Committee went to different schools and colleges in Raipur, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh and paid the fees of the Sikh and non-Sikh children studying here directly to the schools.

He said that according to the decision made by the Shiromani Committee in the past, the fees for the entire year are deposited at the same time, so that its proper use is ensured.

He said that the purpose of giving these fees is to educate Sikhligar Sikh children to become self-reliant, so that they can stand on their own feet in the future.

He said that it is a matter of happiness for us that many children are getting jobs after studying with the support of Shiromani Committee, who will be the support of their families.
