Punjab Planning Department and UNDP-SDGCC launch the AtamaNirbhar Bharat Tracker

CHANDIGARH: Department of Planning Punjab and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) launched the AtamaNirbhar Bharat Tracker for Punjab on 18th December 2020 at 4:00 PM. The tracker is a web enabled platform to track implementation and monitoring of the AatamaNirbhar Bharat stimulus package announced by Govt. of India.

To aid countrys’ revival from the COVID crisis, central government called for the nation to become self-reliant – ‘atamanirbhar’. To initiate and ensure this ‘Atamanirbahr Bharat’ Abhiyan, an economic stimulus package of more than Rs 29 lakh crore was announced for States to introduce policy reforms & new initiatives, as well as fund various sectors viz. cottage industry, MSMEs, labourers, migrants, farmers, middle class, industries and such in becoming self-reliant

Towards fulfilling the vision of ‘AatamaNirbhar Bharat’ the State Government is already working on the reform agenda and devising a mechanism to enable maximum reach and benefit of the economic stimulus package announced by the Govt. of India. The government departments and senior officials of the state need support towards timely implementation and real-time monitoring of the package components. The AatamaNirbhar Tracker (ANB), a State level web enabled platform for tracking implementation and monitoring of ANB package will provide this support. This real-time facilitation tool for the all state departments would help development of the State’s AatamaNirbhar Action Plan with online monitoring and mid-course corrective actions.

The stimulus package is driven by 200+ schemes across 50+ departments and its benefits complex in nature to reach the end users. The ANB tracker, a centralized web & mobile friendly platform will help the departments and its officers to drive 35+ department related schemes, monitor their current status, beneficiaries reached and budget issuance/ utilization act as single window solution to take immediate decisions and take necessary corrective actions perform data analysis to understand bottle necks in scheme implantation across sectors

The ANB Tracker features a user friendly, integrated and self-explanatory centralized platform for real time use and data analysis. It allows creation and edit of sectors, departments, activities, interventions and indicators with few clicks on the dashboard. It enables tracking 200+ activities at departments and intervention level and monitoring of 300+ relevant indicators. Another feature is the breakup and utilization of budget – State and Centre contributed integrated budget dashboards. Also, reports are downloadable in PDF and Excel format. The dashboard is accessible user-wise (Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, HoDs etc.) and Department-wise; and can be done so through desktop, laptop, mobile, tablet.

The ANB Tracker has also been launched in other two UNDP supported states - Haryana and Karnataka.
