24 year old lawyer killed as SUV crashed into tree

MOHALI: A 24- year old advocate was killed, and his friend received serious injuries when their vehicle rammed into a tree near Bampur village in Mullanpur on Thursday morning at 2.30 am.
The incident took place when they were going towards their rented apartment in Omex city. The driver (advocate) lost control of his car (an SUV) and rammed into a tree.The victims were rushed to PGIMER, where the driver was declared brought dead.
The deceased has been identified Maninder singh (24),a resident of Moga and his friend ranjeet singh (25)of DAUDHAR village near Moga They were living in Omex city near city Mullanpur on rented accommodation.
Police informed that the victim was accredited with the Bar Council of India and was presently talking IELTS classes as he wanted to settle abroad.
“On Thursday morning Maninder failed to take a turn and rammed his vehicle into a tree. The body of the deceased was handed over to his family members.Intitated proceeding have been initiated under 174 of code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) at Mullampur police station,” said investigation officer Harpreet singh
