CT Group organizes Tree Plantation drive for Alumni

JALANDHAR : Save the environment, Save Earth! With this motive, CT Group of Institutions has taken an eco-friendly initiative where they have started inviting their pass out students to come and adopt plants on their names. Along with them, the students of the final year have also volunteered and have adopted plants in a tree plantation drive conducted today at CT Group of Institutions, both Shahpur and Maqsudan campuses.

CT Institute of Management & Information Technology, Maqsudan invited their three alumni students in order to reconnect through an environmentally friendly approach. Three well-placed students namely Navdeep Singh, Manisha Syal and Manmeet Kaur were invited for this noble cause.

Four final years students namely Nikita Sandal, B.Tech (ECE), Rishabh Sharma, B.Pharmacy, Sanjeev Kumar, B.Tech and Soviet Preet Kaur, BJMC adopted four plants in CT Group, Shahpur.

Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Director, CTIMIT, Maqsudan Campus and Dr. Sangram Singh, HOD, Management Department welcomed the students and said the students are the backbone of an institute and Alumni always act as role models for the existing students.

Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar said that this kind of event is very important for bonding with alumni as well as with the students who will pass out this year, with an eco-friendly message. This will help the institute to grow in terms of green campuses and also the Alumni to remain intact with their institute.
