PHAGWARA: Former Punjab Minister and Four Times Congress MLA, Veteran Congress Leader Amarjit Singh Samra has strongly opposed the decision of the congress high command to allot Congress ticket to Former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi from Jalandhar Lok Sabha Seat.
Talking to journalists at Phagwara on Thursday, Former Markfed Chairman Samra said that the decision of the high command to choose Channi will prove a blunstituency.
Samra said that only Chaudhary family could be capable to win this prestigious seat otherwise this decision of the choice of Channi will defeat the party.Samra however urged the congress high command to review its decision to ensure the victory of the congress at this important seat by allotting ticket to Chaudhary family ie Smt Karanjit Kaur widow of Ch Santokh Singh.
