Colourful start to Second Inter-Khalsa Colleges Youth Festival-2017

CHANDIGARH : The colourful functions today marked the various competitions of fine arts, poetry, rangoli, poster-making, debates and elocution at Second Inter-Khalsa Colleges Youth Festival, oraganized at Khalsa University campus. The three-day long festival will have hundreds of students from 13 Khalsa Colleges participating and competing in at least 25 items, said the authorities.

Panjab University Dental Institute gets nod for MDS Courses

JALANDHAR  : Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India in its communication to Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Panjab University has permitted the Dental Institute to make admissions to six specialties of MDS courses, namely Periodontology, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Prosthodontics & Crown & Bridges, Conservative Dentistry, and Endodontics andOral Pathology & Microbiology. The admissions are likely to be held in the month of April 2017 for which the Prospectus- cum-Admission Form shall be available on the institute website.

Inmates seemed to be stresfree after getting affection & care from NSS volunteers.To arouse the feelings for selfless service, concern for the less fortunate & universal brotherhood, students were made to interact with the orphan children, physically /mentally challenged children and disserted elderly.
