Mansa Police arrests 11 drug peddlers in 10 cases, drugs, two bikes seized

MANSA: The Mansa police has arrested 11 drug peddlers in ten different cases registered in the district. Police has also seized large quantity of drugs and two bikes used in the crime.

SSP Mansa Narender Bhargav said that a police party of Sardulgarh arrested Lachhman Singh resident of Jatana Kalan alongwith Bajaj 100 Motor Cycle No. PB 51 B 3233 and recovered 500 intoxitated tablets. Another Police party of Joga nabbed Kuldip Singh of village Burj Dhilwan and recovered 500 intoxicated tablets.In third case Mansa CIA staff arrested Karamjit Kaur wife of Nanak Singh resident of Khiva village with 360 intoxicating tabletrs and Gursewak Singh resident of Khiala Kalan with 200 tablets.

Bhikhi police has also arrested Bhola Singh resident of Bhopal Khurd and Chhoti Kaur wife of Bhola Singh ubnder NDPS Act with 110 intoxicating tablets.

Mansa Police has also arrested Raj Singh resident Udat Bhagat under Excise Act and recovered 40 liters illicit liquor. Kulvir Singh of Mansa was also arrested under excise act seized 40 liters illicit liquor.Others arrested by olice are Harjinder Singh, Baltej Singh resident of Lakhmirwala, Babla Khan of Hamirgarh Dhaipai and Bittu of Bhame Khurd.

SSP said that police has launched campaign against bad elements in the district and warned the people involved in illicit liquor trade.
