Massive response to RBU pharma alumni meet

MOHALI: To build up a strong relationship, uplift academic, research and professional standards by making junior and senior alumni members interact, the Rayat Bahra University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (USPS) today organized an E-Alumni meet via Google meet online.

More than 250 alumni from various frontiers registered for the alumni meet and alumni from across the world including India, Australia, and Canada etc. participated.

RBU Chancellor Gurwinder Singh Bahra inaugurating the meet said that the idea behind organizing the alumni meet was to maintain updated and current information of all the alumni and to reach out to them and bring them into the fold.

Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof AC Vaid, Vice-President Gurinder Singh Bahra and Dr Gurfateh Singh, Head, USPS along with other alumni were present at the function.

Dr Gurfateh Singh, Head, USPS, welcoming the alumni said that the alumni meet was planned to learn more about individual accomplishments and achievements of the alumni.  

Dr Singh gave insights into the emotional bonding alumni have with their alma mater. He also stressed upon the importance of alumni meetings to motivate the present students to achieve greater heights in their life.

Dr Neena Mehta, DSW Rayat Bahra University, were present and encouraged the students with their wisdom of words.

After so many years and revival of college life and friends made many of the participants ecstatic. Meeting old yet evergreen friends moistened their eyes. After many years of reunion, it was a moment of 'share, relish and cherish'. In the company of friends if there were tears of joy there were pranks too.

Various Alumni members delivered talks about their growth of journey and importance of the academic future with all seniors and juniors members.
