CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government is all set to introduce Mobile app for the facilitation of farmers besides with a motto to enabling them with current and agriculture related market information and developments.
Stating this here today an official spokesman said that the farmers will be able to get information about agriculture development, including latest techniques to sow the crops, availability and right type of fertilizer, herbicide, pesticides and weather prediction. He said that this mobile app will prove a boon for farmers. He further said that this mobile app is a revolutionary idea for agricultural reform so that farmers can choose seeds on the basis of price and productivity. He further added that this app also provides information related weather at the time of sowing and harvesting, to the farmer in order to save their crops from unfavorable climate conditions.
Adding more information to this he said that the farmers will get information related adequate quantity of seeds, pesticides and manure on the basis of scientific practices. He further added that government had also facilitated the farmers with Kisan Call Centre. The farmers can call any time for any inquires and this mobile app is a new initiative.
