Collective effort is necessary to stop drug addiction - Preet Kohli
AMRITSAR: Youth Services Department, Amritsar, conducted a seminar and drama today in Harsha Chhina village during the anti-drug awareness campaign being conducted through youth clubs affiliated with the department.
Meanwhile, Assistant Director Preet Kohli while addressing the villagers said that the government is conducting an awareness campaign against drugs in various villages of the district through the Department of Youth Services to save the youth of Punjab.
He said that drug addicts ruin their future as well as the future of their family , along with drugs, many other crimes are increasing in the society , so everyone should make joint efforts to stop the flood of drugs. .
The play was performed by the artists of Lok Kala Manch Majitha under the leadership of director Gurmail Shamnagar.

A special lecture on the ill-effects of drugs was given by Dr. Pratt Singh during his speech and said that the age of drug addicts is very short.
A drug addict youth falls under the grip of many other diseases. He also told that the youth who want to quit drugs , they can go to drug addiction centers and get rid of drugs.
At the end of the seminar, a complete drama was also played showing the deadly effects of drugs. In the end Navjit Singh President Youth Services Club , the entire team of Youth Services Department from Harsha Chhina and Village Sarpanch Angrez Singh Group Gram Panchayat and other patriarchs of the village. Gentlemen were thanked.
President Navjit played the role of stage secretary. Vice President Gurpal Singh honored all the guests. Club treasurer Ranjit Singh , Gurbhinder Singh , Gurpreet Singh , Harbhinder Singh , Lavdeep Singh , Baljit Singh Foji Guljar Singh , Yadwinder were also present on this occasion.
