Two villagers arrested for obstructing work of government pond 

The Shahkot police have arrested two villagers on the charge of obstructing work of a government pond in a village.

PHAGWRA: The Shahkot police have arrested two villagers on the charge of obstructing work of a government pond in a village.
Investigating Officer (IO) Tirath Ram said that the accused have been identified as Davindar Singh alias Geba son of Kewal a resident of Jaffar Wal village and Prem Lal alias Prem son of Jogindar a resident of Pato Khurd village
Hardeep Singh Chandi a resident of Jaffar Wal village had complained to the police that the accused had disrupted work of government pond in his village and assaulted and threatened him.
IO said a case under sections 132(was registeredinal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty ) ,263-A(resistance or obstruction to lawful apprehension of another person ),115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt ) 351(2) (criminal intimidation ) and 3(5)(committing crime with common intention) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
