PHAGWARA: Keeping in view of the non-payment off the arrears of Rs 27 Crores of sugar cane growers, the administration today hold Auction of 17 different properties of Golden Sandhar Sugar Mills Phagwara on Friday but only two out of 17 properties belonging to Mill Directors could be auctioned.
When contacted Phagwara SDM Jashanjit Singh while confirming it told this correspondent here this evening that 54 kanals 7 marlas land of Harpreet Singh Bains in village Bidd-Dhandoli was bidded for Rs 1 Crore 6 Lakhs by Rajiv Kumar while 22 kanals 4 marlas land of Smt Dalbir Kaur Bains in village Rawalpindi was bidded for Rs 1.23 Crores to Harneet Singh.SDM Jashanjit Singh said that both auctions would be materialized only after the confirmation of Hon.High Court.
