Mahak Jain and Jack Draper clinch ITF titles

CHANDIGARH : Third seed seed Jack Draper of Great Britain defeated Dhruv Sunish of India in a three setter finalo of the ITF Junior Tennis Circuit at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here today.

Dhruv Sunish won the first set in tie break 6-7(2). In the second set Jack Draper bounced back intonthe game strongly and conceded only one game to close it 6-1. In the the third and deciding set Dhruv Sunish was leading 2-0 but Jack Draper fought back and closed the set and match 6-3.

In the girls singles final top seed Mahak Jain of India defeated fourth seed Axana Mareen of Belgium in a three-setter girls singles final. Mahak lost theopening set 1-6. In the second set Mahak Jain played consistently and used her experience to close it 6-2. In the final set Mahak maintained her high quality level of play and closed the set and match 6-2.

CLTA Patron-in-Chief Rajan Kashyap distributed the prizes.

Results: Boys singles (final): Jack Draper (GBR) [3] bt. Dhruv Sunish (IND) 6-7(2), 6-1, 6-3

Girls singles (final): Mahak Jain (IND) [1] bt. Axana Mareen (BEL) [4] 1-6, 6-2, 6-2.
