Ananya, Arnav and Pelf claim TH table tennis titles

CHANDIGARH:Ananya of Punjab Institute of Sports defeated  Arshita of Sacred Heart School by 11-9, 11-8, 11-9, 11-5 in the junior girls under-18 final of the 2nd Tender Heart Open Table Tennis League  here today.

The boys under-18 title went to Arnav of Gurukul Global School as the outpointed Jaskirat of Punjab Institute of Sports 11-8, 11-5, 11-6, 11-8.

LTAC  General Manager distributed the prizes.  Chandigarh Table Tennis Association secretary Harish Kumar was present on the occasion

Arnav of Gurukul Global School and Pelf of Learning Path School bagged the sub-junior boys under-15 and sub-junior girls under-15 titles, respectively. It was Arnav's second gold medal in the tournament


Sub-Junior boys U-15 final: Arnav (Gurukul Global School) bt Divyang (Learning Path School) 11-8, 11-8, 11-7.

Sub-Junior girls U-15 final: Pelf (Learning Path School) bt Neha (Manav Mangal High School) 11-8, 11-9, 8-11, 11-9.

Junior girls U-18 : Semi-finals:  Arshita (Sacred Heart School) bt Himanshi (Manav Mangal High School) 11-5, 11-8, 9-11, 11-8,  Ananya (PIS) bt Pelf (Learning Path School) 11-8, 9-11, 11-8, 11-8. Final: Ananya bt Arshita 11-9, 11-8, 11-9, 11-5.

Junior boys U-18 : Semi-finals:  Arnav (Gurukul Global School) bt Harman Singh (Punjab Institute of Sports) 11-8, 11-8, 9-11, 11-5 , Jaskirat (Punjab Institute of Sports) beat Mayank Malla (New Public School) 11-8, 9-11, 11-8, 11-8. Final: Arnav (Gurukul Global School) bt Jaskirat 11-8, 11-5, 11-6, 11-8.
