4 Minervans and 3 city boys in India Senior Football Team

After the recent good show of Minerva boys in the AFC Cup U-23 Qualifiers in Qatar, four Minervans namely, Germanpreet Singh, Manvir Singh, Davinder Singh and Anirudh Thapa have now been called by Stephan Constantine for the senior India squad. Both Germanpreet and Manvir Singh managed to get their names on the score sheet against Singapore and Turkmenistan respectively, and Davinder Singh proved to be a great defender and Thapa commanded the midfield during the recently concluded AFC Cup U-23 qualifiers in Qatar. 

Apart from the Minervans, three city boys namely Sandesh Jhingan, Sumit Passi and Gurpreet Singh Sandhu have also been called up for the Senior team. These three city boys are products of St. Stephan's Academy in Chandigarh and are regulars in India teams and have once again been called up by Stephan Constantine.
