Power engineers plan rally at Panchkula on Nov 23

KARNAL : Haryana Power Engineers Association today held gate meeting at HVPN Rest House Karnal and decided to hold protest rally at Panchkula on November 23 in support of their demands.
The meetings were addressed by K K Makkar along with other leaders. The meeting was attended by all the engineers of the Uttar Haryana and HVPN .
Bansal said that the Nigam managements are not solving their long pending issues and had been giving only verbal assurances but nothing has been done so for.
The engineers demanded that all the pending issues of engineers like pay scales of Assistant Engineers, promotion and transfer policy, restructuring of Discoms and penalization of officers by not deciding the show cause notices and charge sheets should be seriously considered and resolved by Nigams management.
Further show cause notices to the office bearers of Association should be withdrawn immediately. . In case management fail to resolve the issues including withdrawal of show cause notices which has been issued with malafide intentions, protest rally will be held on November 23. Earlier gate meetings have been held at all the circle offices throughout Haryana.
The two year old issue of alleged pillar box scam should be decided immediately as three enquiries have already been conducted by the department and engineers be reinstated.
The engineers hope that management will respond positively to their demands and solve all the issues without any delay.
