Now Vice-Chancellors and Registrars to teach their subjects two days in a week, Ramblas

CHANDIGARH : Haryana Education Minister, Ram Bilas Sharma has directed the Vice-Chancellors and Registrars of all universities in the state to teach their subjects concerned for two days in a week, declaring results of examinations at the earliest and to ensure that there should be at least 90 academic days in each session.
Sharma was presiding over meeting with Vice-Chancellors and Registrars of all government and private universities in the state, here today.
He also directed all the universities to adopt nearby five to ten villages so that the teachers and students could make the youth of these villages aware of education and morals.

Sharma reviewed the activities organized by universities and colleges during the birth centenary year of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and said that all universities would publish a book of details of all activities undertaken by them till December 2017.
Sharma said that all universities and colleges should discuss with their staff the matter of installing biometric attendance system in their institutions concerned.
