HP Chief Secretary Vineet Chawdhry superannuates

SHIMLA: Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Vineet Chawdhary was superannuated today. He was an IAS Officer of 1982 batch. He served Government of India and Himachal Government at various posts for around 36 years.

A farewell function was held at Secretariat in his honour.

While addressing officers and employees of Secretariat, Vineet Chawdhry said that we all should work in the public good and redressal of their grievances should be dealt with honesty and dedication to bear the responsibilities effectively. He said that a positive attitude with team's spirits is essential to execute any work. He thanked all officer and employees, who had given their support and respect while his various tenure at different posts.

Additional Chief Secretary B.K. Agarwal said that Vineet Chawdhary believes in execution of works and his associates officers and employees were able to learn a lot from him. He said that State government's Jan Manch had become a big  platform of direct communication with public in the State and Vineet Chawdhry played an important role in frame work of Jan Manch.

Earlier Vineet Chawdhry was honoured with memento and Himachali cap.

Secretary GAD Dr. R.N. Batta and HP Secretariat Services Employees Association President Sanjeet also spoke on the occasion.
