ROPAR: Deputy Commissioner Sonali Giri today self quarantined at home after local SDM G.S.Johal tested positive for Covid-19. He had mild symptoms. Johal had attended a meeting of PCS officers association on Friday last and he district authorities have advised all officers present in the meeting to be cautious.
Health authorities are doing contact r=tracing, an official spokesman said.
Meanwhile, four new positive cases were reported today and now total active cases in the district are 11. The four patients are 48 male from Golu Majra in Nurpurbedi Tehsil, 55 year old female from Aulakh village , 58 male from Kotla Power Houise and 70 year old male.from Sheikhupura.
