Punjabi girl returns India after experiencing nine months hellish experience in Muscat

AMRITSAR:  After experiencing nine months hellish life while living in the animal shed at Oman in Muscat, a Punjabi girl  Parveen  returned India here today. She went to abroad after she was allured for greener posture by Jallandhar based fake travel agents.

She returned India with the efforts of “Sarbat Da Bhalla” Trust led by Dubai based businessman Dr. S.P. Singh Oberoi.

Today her flight landed at Shri Guru Ramdas International Airport where she was received by her mother   Simaranjit Kaur and father Joginder Singh.

She couldn’t hold back her tears which rolled down on her cheeks when she met her parents and other relatives in the  Airport waiting hall as she was hugged by each family members while tears in everybody’s eyes.

Talking to media, Simaran claimed that she went to UAE with the help of travel agents who assured her greener posture. On reaching UAE, she was further sent to Muscat where she was allegedly sold to some big landlord for domestic work. She claimed that while in Muscat she was badly tortured as she was forced to live in unhygienic animal sheds and never got enough food. She claimed that medical treatment during illness was distant dream even she was always forced to carry out domestic work from morning to evening with no break.

Parveen claimed that most of the Indian girls who goes to UAE were further sent to UAE where they were sold to rich men and get ill treatment.

She said that her release was secured by Dr. S.P Singh who paid hefty amount to the landlord who had purchased her as slave.

She made it cleared that she was sent to UAE through Jallandhar based fake agents and would lodge FIR against them.
