Punjab Congress goons mercilessly beat up women in Muktsar, it is Shameful and inhuman

CHANDIGARH: In a most shameful and inhuman act, the members of ruling Punjab Congress in Muktsar town crossed all limits of brutality when they dragged out a woman from her house and beat her up for about half an hour on the road in full public view till the time she fell unconscience.

The mother of the girl who came to rescue of her daughter was also dragged from her hairs in the street.
The main accused Sunny Chaudhary brother of Congress MC Rakesh Chaudhary accompanied by four other goons and a woman gate crashed the house of dalit woman Meena, pulled the victim from her hairs and dragged out of house. They pushed her on the ground and started beating with belts, sticks and kicked her in the stomach with legs and slapped her repeatedly. They continued to beat her up till the time she fell unconscious. The mother of victim, Mamta, who came to save her daughter was also beaten up and dragged on road.

The minor son of Meena while crying for help also made video of the incident and put it on social media. The video went viral on social media and police swung into action. However before police could act the former Congress MLA Sukhdarshan Singh Mrar and Ranjit Dhaliwal an aide of Congress leader and former MP Sher Singh Ghubaya reached the police station in support of accused.
The injured woman is admitted in the cicil hospital Muktsar. The onlookers didnt came to save the girl when she was being beaten which shows insensitivity in the society.

The accused Sunny Chaudhary is considered a bad character because he was involved in many such cases in the past but no action was taken against him due to political protection.

The police has registered the case against ten persons including MC Rakesh Chaudhary and his brother Sunny Chaudhary after Punjab women commission took notice of the viral video and sought status report from SSP by June 20, 2019.
